Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase as our backend provider, which implements robust security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure storage. Videos and personal data are stored in secure cloud infrastructure.

How to Delete Your Account

Account Deletion

Follow these steps to permanently delete your Audition Me account and all associated data

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including videos, practice history, and progress will be permanently removed.

Method 1: Delete from the App

Open the Audition Me app on your device
Tap on the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
Tap on Settings (gear icon)
Scroll down and tap on Account
Tap on Delete Account
Read the warning message and tap Delete My Account to confirm
Enter your password when prompted to verify your identity
Your account will be scheduled for deletion and removed within 30 days

Method 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Send an email to manage@audition-me.com
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Include the email address associated with your Audition Me account
We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Your profile information and account credentials
All uploaded videos and performance recordings
Practice history and progress data
Challenge participation records
App preferences and settings
Any other data associated with your account

Data Retention

After you request account deletion:

Your account will be deactivated immediately
Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request
Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes
Legal records may be retained if required by law (e.g., for tax or legal compliance)
